What type of guarantee is offered with GutterShell?GutterShell is guaranteed to stay clog free as long as you own your home. We guarantee that our system will not be clogged by leaves, pine needles, twigs or other debris and also is guaranteed to keep out pests.

What is GutterShell made of?GutterShell is constructed of .027 gauge aluminum or copper. Conventional gutters and gutter covers are usually not made of material that heavy. Greater gauge material means sturdier, longer lasting covers.

Can squirrels or birds enter and nest in my gutters?Not if you have GutterShell. Unlike vinyl covers, animals can not chew or peck through GutterShell. The pre-adjusted water openings are wide enough to handle the greatest amount of rain water ever recorded but small enough to keep away unwanted pests.

How is GutterShell installed?The front of GutterShell is designed to snap onto the gutters firmly and the back of the GutterShell slides under the first row of shingles, giving your home a more finished look. GutterShell comes in 5-foot sections that are adjusted on the spot by professionally trained installers to custom fit and blend into your home's design.

How does GutterShell work with snow and ice?GutterShell's patent pending design helps melt snow and ice faster than other products. Warm interior air heated by your furnace or the sun usually has no openings through which to escape. Through one nose of GutterShell's patent pending design this heated air usually trapped in your soffit or attic is allowed to circulate, assisting in snow and ice meltage and in avoiding "ice damming". Ice damming can cause extensive damage, leaks and dangerous icicle formations when this frozen water acts as a dam preventing water from running into the gutter and away from your property.
