There are two well-known organizations that give out independent grades to businesses.
One is the Better Business Bureau. They grade businesses based on years in business, truth in advertising, consumer feedback, and other important feedback.
Our grade with the BBB? A+. (The highest grade they give).
We’re also pleased to say that we have a ZERO complaint record with the BBB – we’ve never had even one BBB complaint filed against us.
That’s not the only ‘A’ on our report card. Angie’s List, which has become the best known website for customer reviews, also gives us their highest grade. This rating is based completely on INDEPENDENT reviews – we have zero control or influence on the review process.
Angie’s List has awarded us their SuperService Award. Not once. Not twice. We’ve won 5 and counting. This honor is earned by less than 5% of contractors nationwide and requires that you earn excellent reviews on a consistent basis. Many contractors are thrilled to win it even once – for us it’s become an annual standard.
Did you know that if a contractor doesn’t have insurance (or they don’t have enough) and someone gets hurt while on your property, that the liability will fall to you and/or your homeowner’s policy? It’s true.
This is why you want to be cautious hiring someone whose business is basically a truck, a ladder, and a business card.
